Shawn M Flot (Physical Therapist, Yoga teacher & Certified Oxygen Advantage Instructor) offers his unique ways to access your potential for healing, health and capacities for great performance in life. He is able to deliver effective ways both in person and online.

The Breath’s Physiological Power in Brain Health

Offered through the Osher Life Long Learning Institute at Southern Oregon University. Registration is thru OLLI@SOU. I am volunteering my time and passion to this hybrid offering – both online for those out of town and in-person for those in the area. Registration is through their membership, and your membership allows you to take any course all year through OLLI@SOU, and all benefits go to them.

Tuesdays October 10th – November 14th

The Breath’s Power

Each month explore the Oxygen Advantage method of functional breathing exercises and physiological stressors. Incorporating a movement pattern every month for best outcomes of integrating the power of the breath in all aspects of life.

Introduction to
Hatha Yoga

In the style of Shadow Yoga, this introduction is for all practitioners interested in practicing and understanding the energetics and principles of a classical internal healing art.
With a focus on the initiation of subtle body access and effective forms that cultivate an internal process from removal of surface layers obstacles of movement and circulation.

Advanced
Hatha Yoga Practice

In the style of Shadow Yoga, this advanced practice requires the practitioner to have a stable practice based in accessibility to the bone support. Emphasis placed on opening the torso and upper segments of the body that promote preparation for the more subtle practices of pranayam, mantra and meditation.
Previous experience with Shawn’s teaching required to attend this advanced offering.
